From Consultant to $300 Million in Apartments with Shane Thomas

Shane Thomas is a Canadian-born real estate entrepreneur and Co-Founder of Catalyst Equity Partners, a Texas-based privately held real estate investment firm founded in 2016. Catalyst focuses on the acquisition and management of large value-add multifamily properties in high-growth markets. Catalyst currently has ~1,900+ units and assets under management valued at $300M+.

Shane is also a Co-Founder of CEP Construction Services, a multifamily construction and rehab company. Shane leads the acquisitions, financing, asset management, and investor relations efforts at Catalyst. Shane leverages his expertise in large-scale project management, analytics, and process improvement to ensure Catalyst’s processes are best-in-class.

Prior to starting Catalyst, Shane had 10+ years of experience working at PwC, a Big-4 Consulting Firm, where he led large teams in strategically advising large Fortune 500 companies on ways to improve operations, increase revenues, and reduce costs by implementing streamlined processes and technology.
