How to Determine If a Small Market is Viable with Maggie Cheung, Ep. 519

Maggie Cheung has been investing in real estate since 2011. During that time, she has focused mostly on buy-and-hold rentals, private lending, and both passive and active investing through real estate syndications. Maggie is passionate about following and implementing a financial philosophy that grows wealth at a steady pace over time.

Prior to transitioning to full-time real estate, Maggie worked at large financial firms including Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley. She specialized in risk management for the Firms’ Investment Banking and Investment Management businesses which included reviewing, assessing, and improving the Firm’s underwriting and due diligence process.

In today’s conversation, Maggie talked about her journey from being a W-2 employee to a real estate investor, her insights about coaching, how she hunted for deals to find the best place to invest in, and how she managed concerns from investors.
